Fr. Bill Burt, SVD, is the oldest, yet the newest staff member of the Janssen Spirituality Centre. Originally from Sydney, he joined the Divine Word Missionaries in 1966. Since ordination he has worked in Tonga, New Zealand, Indonesia and in various missions in Australia. Involved in parish and youth ministry, and in administration, he was a chaplain to the Indonesian community in Sydney. He was also a founding member of the NSW branch of Religions for Peace. At JSC he is a spiritual director.
