Fr Thien Nguyen, SVD

frthiennguyen 250Fr. Thien Nguyen is a member of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD), Australia Province. Originally from Vietnam, he came to Australia in 1998 for further studies in theology, specializing in Mission Studies and Theology of Religions. He has been interested in inter-religious dialogue and cross-cultural relations, and has been involved in different interfaith networks in Victoria such as Interfaith Network of the Greater Dandenong, Darebin Interfaith Network, Maroondah Interfaith Network, and Knox Interfaith Network.

At present, Thien works at the Janssen Spirituality Centre, a centre for interreligious dialogue and cross-cultural relations located in Boronia, Victoria. He also teaches Comparative Study of Religions and Interreligious Dialogue at Yarra Theological Union (YTU), University of Divinity in Meloburne.
